QEP Judge in Brussel

Wonderfull experience to be in Brussel and meet other photographers, who are nto phptography just like my self. We talked images all day and night long - realy joyfull :)

I was there 29th Nov. until Dec. 1st - judging and participating in the boardmeeting of FEP

We awaded 11 new QEP's, so there is now 287 of us - from the app. 56.000 members of FEP.

I hope to be back again.

Fuglsanghus Exhibition Nov 15 - Dec 14 2008

In the beutifull old Fuglsanghus, which is Hørsholm City's exhibition building fir fine art, I am habing an exhibition from Nov 15th to Dec 14th 2008 together with Anne Vibeke Lauridsen (http://www.post-scriptum.dk/) and Trine UBBE RASMUSSEN (http://www.art-of-tur.net/) Mu part of the exhibitions show varius abstract flowerworks from 2008

The exhibition is arranged by Kunstforeningen Mikkelborg

Opening is Nov 15th at 14.00

Opening hours Friday-Sunday 12-17

QEP judge fall 2008

On behalf photo-dk / dff I am appointet judge for the comming QEP/Master QEP (Qualified European Photographer) in FEP (Federation of European Professionel Photographers - http://www.europeanphotographers.com/)

The event takes place 29-30/11 og 1/12 -08 in Belgium

Judges must be QEP's themself - I became one in may 2008

I am looking forward to meet a lot of collegues and see a lot of good photography

Photosport at Update 2008

In the "photographer weekend" Nov. 2-3 2008 some 65 photographers gathered for the Update 2008 event in the fiormer prison "Slottet".

Sunday morning was "photo sport" og "creative play", where I had the pleasure of giving the "kick off" speak....

Its fun to play - seriusly!
Creativity is aboutr breaking the rules - breaking out. Maybe therefore the old prison is a good place to break ones old habbits and think new, to (re)find the joy of photograhy. We will challenge us selv and each other

Lot's of us made exciting new stuff - great!

I chose to make one of "boredom" - which many must have felt in the prisons days fo the place

First day at the Livestylefair was good

Alwyas interesting to take part in new adventures - and the first day at the Lifestylefair brought a lot of visitores to the fair and my stand. Our Crownprinces Mary came to the fair to recive FEMINAs price 2008, but here guided tour around the fair did not come to "my" part of the area, however so did a lot of others giving me a chance to catch up with old and new contacts.

All ready for FEMINA LIFEYLE FAIR 2008. As a first time participent I am looking forward to see how is goes. I have tried to make a simple stand with the images in focus. After all - they arre what is is all about.

Last year there was some 18.000 visitors in the 3 days. I hope lots will come thios time - and that I will have a chance to say "Hi"to lost of old and new friends...

Qualified European Photographer (QEP)

In May 08 I had the pleasure of becoming a Qualified European Photograper (QEP) by

Federation of European Proffesional Photograher (FEP), as one of the first two in Denmark. QEP is a qualification recived after a judgement of a panel of images. By May 2008 we are some 250 in Europe - so I am quite pleased :)

Yesterday - finaly - the diploma arrived - so it is framed right away - could not wait

To optain the QEP I submited a panel of abstract floral images, that was made as part of my preperation for a "Creative PLay" masterclass at SWPP - Society of Weding & Portait Photographers - annual convention i London january 2008.

But one should not rest at that - I am now working on the next level - evolution is a life long path...

Yesterday Pernille (model) and TV-hostres Line Baun Danielsen was hera at the studio, where I made a series of images, including the 3 shown here. The images are for Pernille's homepage - and for a program being made about her. We ere filmed here at the studio - looking forward to see the final program, which will be shown in primetime ultimo oktober.

September 7th and 8th I had the pleasure, on behalf Dansk Fotografisk Forening to arrange and participate in a wedding photography workshop with two very good scotish photographers Trevor & Faye Yerbury. At the workshop was some 20 of Denmarks proberly best weddingphotographers - exciting to expand your knowledge and be alongside the others for talks and seeing how they work.
